These terms cover use of the qnsdumpsterrental.com website and set out the general basis on which QNS Dumpster Rental Queens arranges roll-off container service for you. Specific rental terms are confirmed with you when you book.

How we work

QNS Dumpster Rental Queens operates as a local scheduling and referral service. We do not personally own or operate the dumpster trucks or disposal facilities used to complete your job — when you call, we arrange delivery, pickup and disposal through an independent local dumpster rental provider from our network, matched to your job, location and timing. References on this site and in these terms to "we deliver," "our container" or similar describe the service you receive through that arrangement.

Using this website

Content on this site is provided for general information about our services. We work to keep it accurate and current, but sizes, weight allowances, availability and pricing can change, and nothing on this site is a binding quotation. A quote is only firm once we give it to you directly for your specific job.

Quotes and pricing

Quotes are given by telephone based on the information you provide about the material, location and duration. A quote is confirmed as a flat rate before any container is scheduled, and covers delivery, the standard seven-day rental period, collection, and a stated tonnage allowance. There is no added cost to you for using our service — the price you are quoted is the price set for your job. Loads exceeding the stated tonnage allowance are charged at the per-ton rate advised at the time of booking. Materially different information — a different debris type, an inaccessible placement, a container that cannot be collected — may change the price.

Delivery, placement and access

You are responsible for ensuring the delivery location is accessible, legal and suitable, and for clearing vehicles, debris and obstructions before the delivery window. A container placed entirely on private property generally needs no permit. Placement on a public New York City street or sidewalk requires a permit issued by NYC DOT — a Commercial Refuse Container Permit, Construction Debris Container Permit, Bulk Item Refuse Container Permit or Refuse Container Enclosure through DOT Revocable Consent, depending on the job — requested through NYC311 (service code KA-02700) and typically obtained by a registered carting company or contractor. You are responsible for confirming and obtaining any permit required for your placement. If your project involves excavation near the container's location, you are responsible for contacting New York 811 (dial 811, or visit newyork-811.com) before digging.

The independent provider fulfilling your order uses reasonable care when placing containers, including boards under the rails on driveway or curb placements as standard. Roll-off delivery and collection nevertheless places significant point loads on any surface. Neither QNS Dumpster Rental Queens nor the fulfilling provider is liable for damage to driveways, curbing, lawns, irrigation systems, buried utilities or overhead lines where placement was at your direction, where the surface or subgrade was already compromised, or where hidden features were not disclosed. If you have any concern about a surface, tell us before delivery and we will discuss alternatives.

Seasonal considerations

Delivery and collection may be affected by conditions common to the New York City area, including winter snow and ice and summer heat, as well as by temporary street or parking restrictions in effect at your location. We will advise you as early as we reasonably can where these affect your booking, and will work with you to reschedule.

Loading and prohibited materials

Containers must be loaded level with the top rail. Overloaded or heaped containers cannot be transported legally and may be refused, incurring a return charge. You must not place in any container: liquids of any kind, wet paint, solvents, fuels, oils, pesticides or agricultural chemicals, batteries, tires, propane or other pressurized cylinders, appliances containing refrigerant, electronics where prohibited, medical or biohazardous waste, hot ashes, radioactive material, or any material containing asbestos. Yard waste and other regulated items requiring a separate route must be kept separate and are not accepted mixed with general debris. Prohibited items may result in rejection of the load, contamination charges and any costs incurred in lawful disposal, which are passed on to you.

Rental period, extensions and collection

The standard rental period is seven days from delivery. Extensions are available on request and charged at the daily rate advised at booking. If a container cannot be collected on the scheduled date because of access, weather, overloading or prohibited contents, a dry-run charge may apply.

Risk and responsibility

The container remains the property of the fulfilling provider throughout the rental. From delivery until collection you are responsible for the container and its contents, for keeping the area safe, and for ensuring nobody climbs on or into it. Do not move, alter or relocate a container yourself.

Limitation of liability

Because QNS Dumpster Rental Queens arranges rather than personally performs delivery, pickup and disposal, our liability relates to our role in scheduling and coordinating your booking; claims relating to the physical delivery, placement, collection or disposal of a container are between you and the independent provider who fulfilled the job. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our own liability in connection with the referral and scheduling service itself is limited to the amount, if any, paid to us directly for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or project delay. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, layout, graphics and logos, is the property of QNS Dumpster Rental Queens or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New York, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New York, including the courts of Queens County where applicable.
