Is this the one?
Thirty cubic yards is roughly nine pickup truck loads and stands six feet high, which is where its advantage lies: volume. For framing offcuts, furniture, packaging, insulation, cabinetry and general clearance, very little else comes close.
The caveat is weight, and it is a big one. Its allowance is generous but finite, and dense material will exhaust it while the box still looks half empty. There is a second caveat here that matters more in Queens than almost anywhere else we deliver: a 30 needs open, level ground to sit on, and on a lot of blocks that means the curb rather than a driveway. If it has to sit on the street we handle the NYC DOT placement permit before the truck rolls, and we will talk through alternate-side parking timing and building access with you up front so the delivery does not become the hard part of the job.
Straight advice: Take this one for volume, never for weight. If the pile is dense, ask us — the honest answer is usually a smaller box, and on a tight block it is also the easier one to place.
Compare
Same flat pricing model across all five. The only question is which weight allowance matches your material — and, on the bigger sizes, whether it fits your block.

About 22 ft long by 8 ft wide by 6 ft high — the same footprint as the 40, just two feet shorter on the walls. It needs open, level ground; a driveway is ideal, and curb placement works with the right permit.
That is common on larger Queens jobs, and it is worth sorting before delivery day. We can talk through the spot with your super or board over the phone and provide whatever placement details they need alongside the NYC DOT permit if the container has to sit on the street.
About 9 pickup truck loads, with 4–5 tons included. It is built for volume — furniture, framing offcuts, packaging — and will run out of weight allowance long before it looks full if the load is dense.
Often, yes, but it depends on the block — driveway width, tree pits, fire hydrants and alternate-side timing all factor in. Describe the address when you call and we will tell you straight whether it fits or whether a 20 delivered with a swap partway through is the more realistic plan.
Delivery, the standard rental period, pickup, disposal and the stated weight allowance in one flat number, plus the placement permit if the spot requires one.
